Would you like to organise an event to support the Foundation?

April 16th

TEACHERS’ TALK-BACK

at Scott Polar Research Institute, Lensfield Road, Cambridge
on 16th April 2011, 2.30 pm – 5 pm

Following the completion of the third Foundation Polar Expedition, the second to Antarctica, the four teachers will recount their experiences, talk about their science projects and the benefits that have resulted.

Afterwards tea and biscuits, and the opportunity to view the new Polar Museum.

And later in the evening...

A Celebration Dinner marking the Completion of the Foundation’s Third Polar expedition in the Quincentennial Year of St. John’s College, and in a Centenial year of Captain Scott’s last expedition

At St. John’s College, Cambridge, 7.15 for 8 pm

Guest Speaker: Paul Rose, Broadcaster and Explorer.

Paul is noted for his BBC Series, “Oceans” and he is working on a new ocean series which should be broadcast before this event. He was Base Commander of the Rothera Research Station in Antarctica for 10 years, and is a holder of a Polar Medal
